Description

This is a clear acrylic display stand with two raised shelves, designed to sit on a back-bar shelf or counter and lift bottles into clearer view than they'd get sitting flat. Because it's transparent, it doesn't block the bottles behind or beside it, and it makes better use of vertical space on a shelf that would otherwise hold a single row of bottles at one height.

It's aimed at the display side of a bar rather than working storage — a premium spirits range, a gin selection, or a feature shelf customers can see from their seats. A busy back bar handling large volumes of stock will still need standard shelving for the bulk of its bottles; this is for the selection you actually want people to notice. It's acrylic rather than glass, so it's lighter and won't shatter if knocked, though it can scratch if cleaned with anything abrasive — a soft cloth is all it needs.

Questions about this product

How many bottles does it hold?

This depends on bottle width, since the tiers are shared shelf space rather than individual slots, but a typical two-tier stand comfortably holds a small range of spirits bottles across both levels u2014 usually somewhere between six and ten standard 70cl bottles, depending on spacing. It's designed for a curated selection rather than bulk stock, so leave some space between bottles for a tidier look rather than packing it tightly.

Will the acrylic scratch or yellow over time?

It can scratch if cleaned with an abrasive cloth or cleaning product, so stick to a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid glass cleaners with ammonia, which can cause acrylic to cloud over time. With reasonable care it holds its clarity well. It won't shatter the way glass would if knocked, which is one of the main reasons acrylic is used for bar displays in the first place.
