Description

This is a compartmented black caddy that sits on the bar top or service station, holding the small items bar staff reach for constantly — napkins, straws, stirrers, cocktail picks, sugar sachets or bottle openers. Having them in one fixed spot means staff aren't hunting through drawers mid-service, and the black finish doesn't show marks the way a pale plastic caddy would after a few weeks of handling.

It's a genuinely useful bit of kit for any bar or restaurant service point, and a home bar setup benefits from the same tidiness if you entertain regularly. It's not designed to hold liquids or ice — for garnish and condiments during cocktail prep, the 6-compartment organiser is the better tool, since it separates wet ingredients rather than mixing them with dry sundries. Wipe it out periodically, as spilled sugar and syrup residue will build up in the compartments over time.

Questions about this product

What's it meant to hold?

It's designed for dry, everyday bar sundries u2014 straws, stirrers, napkins, cocktail picks, sugar sachets and similar small items staff need within arm's reach during service. It isn't intended for garnish, ice or anything wet, since the compartments are open and not designed to contain liquid. For fresh garnish and condiments during cocktail prep, a dedicated organiser with an ice well is the better option.

Is it freestanding or does it need fixing to the bar?

It's freestanding and simply sits on the bar top or service counter, so it can be moved between stations or taken off the bar for cleaning. It isn't designed to be wall-mounted or screwed down, which means it should be placed somewhere stable rather than right on the edge of a busy service area where it could be knocked. Its own weight and base keep it steady during normal use.
