Description

This works on the same push-and-dispense principle as the push-up spirit measure, but instead of fitting onto a single bottle, it stands on the counter as its own unit. Staff bring the bottle to it, invert it into the measure's cup, and push down to release an accurate shot — useful where you don't want, or can't fit, a dedicated measure on every bottle behind the bar. It's available in 25ml, 35ml and 50ml.

It's built for trade service, particularly well bars and busy counters pouring a range of spirits from a shared measuring point rather than dedicating a fitting to each bottle. It takes up a fixed spot on the counter, so it suits a station with a consistent workflow more than a small or mobile setup, and it's a poor fit for home use, where a thimble or a single push-up fitting on your regular spirit is simpler. Give the mechanism an occasional check, since dirt or spillage around the plunger can make the action stick.

Questions about this product

How does a push-up counter measure differ from a push-up spirit measure?

A push-up spirit measure fits directly onto one bottle's neck and travels with it. A push-up counter measure is a standalone unit that sits on the bar, and you bring whichever bottle you're pouring to it and push down to dispense. It's useful when you want one measuring point for several spirits rather than fitting a measure to every bottle individually.

Does it need to be fixed to the counter?

No, it's designed to stand freely rather than being bolted down, so it can be repositioned as needed. Because it's not fixed, keep it somewhere stable and out of the way of general bar traffic, since it relies on being pushed down against firmly to dispense cleanly.
