Description
The quick shot measure pourer fits into the neck of the bottle like a standard free-flow pourer, but it's built to release a fixed volume rather than pour freely. Tip the bottle right up and it delivers a measured 25ml, 35ml or 50ml and then stops, letting one member of staff measure and pour in a single motion instead of pouring into a separate thimble or reaching for a push-up fitting.
It's aimed at busy trade bars that want measured pours without the extra step of a stand-alone measure, particularly for spirits poured constantly through a shift. Because it lives on the bottle, it works best for regularly-used stock rather than something opened once in a while, and like any measured pourer it needs a firm, full tip to dispense the whole measure rather than a partial one — a half-hearted pour can leave spirit sitting in the fitting. For occasional or varied use, a thimble measure gives you more control.
