Description
This opener screws to the underside of the bar counter, usually just below the front lip, so a bartender can pop a cap with one hand while the other pours or reaches for the next order. Because it's fixed in place, it's never lost, never left in the wrong spot, and it's positioned exactly where bottles get opened during service.
It's built for trade use — pubs, bars and venues with a fixed service point where the same spot handles most of the bottle opening. It needs a suitable underside to the counter to screw into, with enough clearance for a hand to reach up and use it comfortably, so check your bar's construction before ordering. It's not a fit for home use unless you've got a proper home bar counter to fix it to; for occasional bottle opening at home, a handheld bar blade or traditional opener is far more practical.
