Description

This is a rigid moulded carrier with cut-out grips, designed to let you carry several glasses at once by hand rather than making repeat trips or balancing a loaded tray. It's built for pint glasses and similar straight-sided glassware, holding them upright and separated so they don't clink together or tip while you're walking. Behind a bar it speeds up glass collection from tables and reduces the risk of dropped or chipped glasses compared with stacking them by hand or carrying too many at once.

It's a functional, low-cost item rather than a display piece, and it's worth having a couple on hand if you're running any kind of event or function where glasses need collecting in volume — beer festivals, marquee bars, and busy sessions all benefit from being able to clear a table in one pass. For occasional home use, one is usually enough. It's plastic rather than metal, so it's light to carry when empty and won't rust, but it's not designed to take excessive weight beyond a full load of glasses. Wipes clean and is dishwasher safe.

Questions about this product

How many glasses does a plastic glass carrier typically hold?

Most carriers of this kind are built around a grid of finger-hole grips sized for standard pint or half-pint glasses, holding somewhere between four and six at once depending on the glass diameter. It's meant for carrying a manageable load by hand rather than replacing a tray for larger rounds, so for bigger clears it's often quicker to make two trips than to overload it.

Is a plastic carrier sturdy enough for a busy bar or event?

Yes, for its intended job of carrying empty or part-full glasses from tables to a wash-up point. It isn't designed as a serving tray for full drinks, and it won't take the weight of stacked crates or bottles. For a busy pub, function, or festival bar clearing large numbers of glasses through a shift, it's a genuinely practical time-saver over carrying glasses by hand.
