Description
This wall-mounted shelf gives you display and storage without using floor space, with a glass rail running along the front and sides to stop bottles and glasses sliding off. The shelf itself is an oak, walnut or black-finished engineered board on two concealed metal brackets, wide enough for six to eight bottles plus a run of glasses depending on how you arrange them.
The fixings included are rated for solid masonry walls; if you're mounting it on a stud or plasterboard wall, you'll need proper cavity fixings rated for the same load, ideally screwed into a stud rather than the plasterboard alone, since plasterboard fixings alone won't safely hold a shelf loaded with full bottles. Always check for hidden pipes and cables with a detector before drilling. Fitting takes around 20 minutes with a drill and spirit level. The shelf and rail together take up to 15kg; spread heavier bottles evenly along its length rather than grouping them at one end, which puts uneven strain on the brackets.
