Description

This bottle opener pairs a stainless steel lever with a wooden handle, giving it enough weight to feel solid without being bulky. It's small enough to keep in a drawer or a bag, and simple enough to use one-handed.

Engraving goes on the wooden handle — initials or a name. The handle is narrow, so short wording works best: initials engrave more clearly than a full name, and a full name more clearly than a name plus anything longer. Production takes 2-5 working days before dispatch, with longer waits near Christmas and during busier wedding months, so order in good time if you're buying several for a wedding party. As a personalised item made to your specification, it's excluded from the standard right to cancel under UK consumer law, and can only be returned if it's faulty or engraved incorrectly against your order.

Can I order several bottle openers with different names for a wedding party?

Yes. Each opener is engraved individually, so you can order a batch with a different name or set of initials on each one. When you check out, list clearly what should appear on every opener, ideally in the order you'd like them engraved, so there's no confusion between similar names. Ordering as one batch rather than several separate orders also makes it easier for us to keep track of which wording goes where.

How much text fits on the handle?

The handle is narrow, so it suits initials or a short first name rather than a full name and message. Two or three initials will always engrave more sharply than a longer name, simply because there's more room for each letter. If you'd like a full name, it can be done, but the lettering will be smaller u2014 worth bearing in mind if the gift is likely to be handled often.
